Basins of various sizes jut out of the main granite fountain standing in the center of the square.  The three middle basins halfway up are meant for people to dip their jugs for water to take home.  A couple wooden dippers hang from a hook above the smallest of these basins, for thirsty folk to take their fill of the cool water.  The largest pool at the bottom of the fountain is large enough to bring the horses to drink and for the children to splash around in.  Three little cherubs stand on the very top of the fountain with water pouring out of the large jugs they hold, supplying the fountain with its water.
