The stench of this place is overwhelming.  Piles of trash are stacked in large mounds.  All manner of trash is evident in the piles, including food, metal scraps, and paper.  The place is teeming with rats, which burrow deep into the center of the reeking mounds of trash.  A large fence surrounds the entire dump, preventing larger creatures like dogs and raccoons from entering the trash piles.  There is a curious lack of garbage in the center of the dump where a grating allows entrance to the sewer system.
