These real tiger jaws were created for practitioners of the black tiger style of kung fu.  The upper maxilla has been separated from the rest of the skull and hinged to the lower mandible with dried sinew.  Sinew straps wrap behind and over the head to secure the jaws.  Imbued with Shaolin mysticism, the bones increase the wearer's power and intimidation factor.
