Reasonably large, the bucket is well made for the intended purpose of holding water.  Tightly fitted slats of hardwood are bound by flat brass bands into a water container that does not leak at all!.  A brass arc connects to the top edge of the sides and has a fancy gnurled center that has a rope attached to it by a strong knot.
