A small fingerbone of a long dead elf can be identified by the manicured nails.

Close examination reveals this is just a little fingerbone, probably a finger of some long dead elf because of the manicured nail.  At best, suitable for wearing through a pierced nose if you were an aborigine and wanted to impress the ladies.  BUT!  It is magic and glows so it must have some value. Looking more closely, there are tiny etchings of runes and carvings of little goblins on it.
