the Talisman of Power

A strange looking amulet glows on the ground.

look talisman

A strong mithril chain supports an intricate mithril sunburst. Strange symbols are embedded deeply in the swirling metal of the sunburst on both sides, but the back also contains the faint script naming this the Talisman of Power. Centered on the front, and gripped by fiery swirls of metal, is a brilliant red bloodstone flecked with glowing emerald-green speckles deep in the stone. Staring at the stone, the emerald flecks flicker and dance or at least seem to, but the power they emanate is unmistakeable.
