Barely bigger than a man's thumb, these tiny edibles grow all through the woodlands and along the edges of the road.

Deep indigo blue with brilliant orange spots on the hat-shaped pointy cap greets your eyes.  When eaten these bits of fungus are reported to taste much like almonds.  Strange thing is that bright colored items are usually poison to warn potential predators.
