Bright orange-red and as coarse a hair as the bristles on an outhouse bowl brush, the hairs from some unlucky dwarfs chin have been braided into a wristlet using an eight strand braid to make it strong.  It glows with a strange aura so this probably was some special dwarf who found his fate in some pot of the gnolls.
