It is made from what appears to be several kinds of stone.  Written on the
statue is a short message.  Cryptic symbols of some arcane nature glow with an
eerie light, decorating the edges of the statue.  The message reads:

         Words to the wise: Always finish what you start.


   There are obvious signs of wear at the base of the statue, where numerous
beings have knelt in homage to the powers of wisdom.
