A cracked monacle wastes away beneath a pile of bones.

A concave piece of glass housed in a thin brass frame seems unspectacular. The seawater and sand which it has been trapped in for an unknown amount of time has made the glass almost grey with scratches.  A small crack runs almost directly through its center and splits towards one edge into two cracks.
