A small cage of fine mesh emits an eerie light.  The yellow muted light comes from the occupants of the cage, several dozen fireflies.  The fireflies are crawling all over a small pile of leaves, looking for a tender spot to bite.  The bread box sized cage is cumbersome when held by an Atomie, but the handle, a piece of rope, could be replaced to accommodate most any hand size and type.
