The leather vest is old and worn, but it still is useable.  It has been sewn of some unknown brown hide, magically embedded with glowing mithril lines which shimmer in deep contrast to the cloth.  On the left side of the front is a shield-shaped crest, most likely the family crest of the original owner. The crest is producing a low humming sound.
