A sturdy backpack stitched of deep black leather, with silver trimmings at each seam for reinforced binding.  The leather is double folded at each side and the back, working for both comfort of the wearer and stability of the pack's fragile contents during rough and hard travel.  The flap which secures the pack's top firmly closed latches with a leather cord wrapped double around a silver medallion, not much of a deterrent from thieves, but the wrap's complexity around the medallion is nearly impossible to clear without knowledge.
