A simple white marble altar stands near the center of the room.

The small altar stands in the center of the room.  The mosaic pattern laid out on the floor swirls up and to the pillow that sits before it.  A small diamond shaped lace cloth covers the altar, spilling over the narrow ends while just reaching the long edges.  Round beeswax candles, burnt down to different levels, stand scattered over the top.  A small opening in the altar can be seen beneath the lacy cover in the front of the altar.

A narrow ledge below the lacy covering on the altar holds many dusty scrolls.
