A black sword has been discarded on the floor.

The sword seems to have been tempered of anodized steel.  The surface is a rustic black and the grip is wrapped with a thick strip of black leather. The sword is unremarkable in design; however, it does appear as if it has seen quite a bit of use.  A large nick mars part of the blade and various scratches and wear marks show along the full length of the sword.
