An odd pair of boots seems to have been forgotten here.

These knee-high, for most races, boots are made from a thick leathery skin that is lined and marked as if it expected to have scales on the outside protecting it.  The outline on the skin is a dark red coloring that seems to actually pulse like little veins full of blood.  The spots are quite large and most likely the creature this hide came from was quite formidable.
