The coat is made of high quality, solid black leather.  At the lower back of the coat, near where a human's waist would be, there is a thin cut that allows the legs a full range of movement when wearing this piece.  The leather folds over the clasps in the front and adds an extra layer of padding to the vital chest area.  The sleeves are full length and open enough that a weapon or other wrist wear could easily be accessed.  Functional and extremely stylish, this coat was well thought out and carefully designed with range of motion, protection and appearance in mind.
