A tall staff, coated in foam padding, lies on the ground.

This staff is easily as tall as an average elf and thick enough around that most wielders would not be able to touch thumb to finger around the staff. Much of the bulk of the weapon comes from the thick foam padding that is wrapped around the entire staff.  Obviously this is intended as a practice weapon and could do very little real damage to an opponent.
