The drawer was obviously once part of a dresser or chest of drawers; however, it now sits alone on the floor.  There are numerous scratches on the front of the drawer where it has been dragged along the ground to pull it out or push it under the bed.  A strong smell of mildew comes from the drawer and a thick layer of dust has settled on both the inside and outside of it.
