Pockets of different sizes line the sides of the chair.  Each pocket is made of a net-like material that allows the contents of the pouch to be easily visible at a glance.  Each pocket is easily in reach for any elf sitting in the chair.  In fact, even the short-armed dwarves would probably find the compartments easily accessible.
