The wire cage is made of interlaced copper that is sturdy enough to keep the monkey within from wrecking the cage.  The monkey capers and frolics but seems a little sad at being kept in the cage.  Though an opening in the cage does not seem to exist, perhaps the monkey could open the cage if it was placed on the ground.

The monkey is happy that it has a new owner but it wants out of the cage.
