The cocao tree stands about 20 feet tall and is an evergreen with large glossy leaves.  The tree is covered in thousands of tiny, waxy pink and white five-petaled flowers.  Hundreds of football-shaped, red seed pods hang on the tree.  The pods, when ripe, contain the cocao beans that can be turned into chocolate.
