Long as the stone wall it has been pushed against, but flat enough that it doesn't hide the whole wall, the wooden box looks like it was crafted to fit into this exact space.  The finish on the box is plain but waterproof and the clasp that holds it closed is a simple steel catch in a fleur-de-lis design.
