The stout wooden barrel stands about three and half feet tall and weighs quite a lot even when it's empty.  The barrel has iron bands at top and bottom and is mostly sealed with a thick glue.  The wood of the barrel looks to have stained before it was sealed because wood doesn't usually appear in such a bright chocolate color.
