Here stands a statue to the great Queen Amalthea, who helped to design and build the city of Ixchal.  The statue is made of white marble and stands twenty feet tall, except for the upraised arm which pierces the surface of the pond.  The face and body of the statue is extremely detailed and very beautiful.  The statue of Queen Amalthea is wearing a long, tight fitting dress that shows off her ample breasts and well-rounded thighs.  The upraised hand of the statue holds a large metal sword.  There is a plaque on the base of the statue.
