Crafted in silver and formed into the shape of an elephant holding the head of a hammer in it's trunk, the elephant hammer is heavy and slightly off balance.  The elephant is one of the many animals sacred to the Goddess Durga, for it was the elephant that carried the Goddess home when she was wounded by a large demon.
