a scrap of paper

A scrap of paper is here.

look writing

It says:
This is a bad place. I, Craven the Yellow, wandered these passages myself. I escaped this hole through skill and cunning and a little luck. Also, I cheated. I had a token from Ghelan himself for a small job performed for the great UnderDark ruler, and this token allowed me to escape. Poor fool. I am betting you have no such token.
 Alas, you must die.
