Carved from knotted and bleached driftwood, this javelin may be sharp but it is not the most effective throwing weapon.  The unbalanced weight due to the knots and the soft nature of salt treated wood allow for accuracy only at a short distance.  As an ornamental piece however, the weapon is quite attractive and would look great crossed over a trophy room fireplace.
