Grasping this small turquoise stone, the knobby dull rock fits easily into the palm of just about any sized hand.  A strong pressure immediately fills the head, as if someone or something is trying to wrest control of the gray matter.  The impulse to grasp the orb tighter only makes the necessity of dropping it that much greater.  As it clinks to the floor an enormous weight lifts and the senses return to normal.
