The crumbled bit of worn skin has several scribbles over its surface.

The large triangular piece of skin has strange scribblings, some map like, some in strange text.  Two of the outer edges look as if the map has been torn in three pieces.  In the upper left corner, a frightening sketch of a screaming half-woman, half-bird reaches out with her claw down at the loose drawing of a small city surrounded by desert sitting on the torn edges of the map.  The map will have to be fixed to see the rest of the information.
