This sword resembles a staff with a blade of transparent blue crystal extending from each end.  The double-bladed sword is held by the steel grip in the middle.  Several crystal spikes protrude outward where each blade meets the grip.  These spikes allow for extra raking damage when the wielder gets inside his opponent's defenses.
