a baby griffon

A baby griffon rests here, waiting to be taken care of.

His bright plumage glitters in the light, his large furry paws are crossed as he drifts between awake and asleep lying here waiting for someone to take him home.  He licks a rough patch on his furry/feathery neck once and a bit, a nervous habit more than anything else.
