A boy is sitting in the rocking chair, whittling quietly.

The boy has finished his chores for the day and can now sit back and relax for a while.  He picked up whittling at the Heliopolis Fair a couple years ago and continued at it when he found he was good at it.  Now he is trying to shape the piece of wood into the likeness of the orphanage mascot, Goopy the dog.
