a great white hoarfrost dragon

A giant white dragon, obviously quite ancient, is resting here.

The dragon's scales glitter slightly from the rough texture and the thick white frost that seems encrusted over the nearly gray plates beneath.  The four sharp talons on each clawed foot seem designed to carry off full size caribou with ease.  Barbed like a giant mace, the dragon's tail is long enough and agile enough to strike at any point around its enormous body.  Add the wingspan whose length is nearly equal to the height of six humans and the great beast clearly becomes a formidable predator.
