the storm dragon's tail

Thick plates cover the full length of the great dragon's tail.  The end of the tail is covered by four sharp spikes that are each nearly the length of a spearhead and just as deadly, especially with the charges of electricity that seem to constantly leap from spike to spike like tiny bits of lightning building up.
