A pale raven sweeps across the tundra.

A bird, flying low, near the icy terrain, scans the earth with its sharp eyes, searching for something to feed upon.  Its beady black eyes have a haunting look as the scavenger hunts like a ghost.  Its actions though are not the only characteristics of a ghost that it personifies.  The white feathers of the bird, which contrast that of its cousin the raven, make it blend in with the white powder beneath it, providing the bird not only with a natural camouflage against predators, but also a camouflage for hunting.
