a BIG dragonfly

A really large dragonfly darts up quickly and hovers curiously.

Iridescent, paired wings about three feet long beat fiercely from both sides of the giant insect hovering ahead.  The metallic emerald green of the head, thorax and abdomen appears like overlapping armor plates and the long, black, segmented legs have wicked looking spurs and barbs.  Glowing red comes from beneath the abdomen and the lenses on the eyes reflect your image back at you from a thousand facets.
