A samurai fumes here, dishonored by being refused audience with the Grand Master.

A prideful samurai stands before the gates in a full ceremonial do-maru, an elaborate suit of armor made from interlaced layers of black leather.  He has come to collect taxes for his Daimyo, his regional lord, but apparently the monks do not recognize his authority and have no patience for the imperial bureaucracy that has brought this samurai before them.
