the Mriswith

A Mriswith lurks here.

It is hard to see the Mriswith, since its skin and cloak blend almost perfectly with its surroundings, even as it moves.  Glimpses of its head reveal something from a nightmare!  The head looks like a man and a lizard were melted together.  Glossy tight black skin covers its face down to its sinuous neck where pliable scales appear.  The rest of the body appears humanoid, but built for grace, speed, and death.
