A seagull soars overhead.

With a loud call and plunge, it strikes at almost anything that moves. After all, food can be found in the strangest places.  Although feet are not too big a threat, that beak and the powerful wings can do quite a bit of damage.  It is bigger than most gulls, and much meaner.  Perhaps living in the marsh has altered the gene pool.
