A black swamp fox blends into the darkness of the mist.

Black as night, the fox slinks through the swamp, hiding as it needs to, and hunting always.  The fox seems to become a shadow when it stops - a mere figment of imagination.  It's hard to tell if it's really there, or if it was all a dream.  With large incisors, and claws worn sharp, it sneaks up on its prey from behind...
