A fallow deer browses for food among the reeds.

Smaller than the bucks, she can almost disappear in the marsh by drawing her body low.  Her quick movements and coloration usually make those who catch a glimpse of her think they're imagining things.  Her ears constantly flick back and forth to catch even the smallest sounds.
