an anaconda

A mottled brown anaconda silently flows through the jungle.

A massive snake, perhaps twenty, or twenty-five feet long, no small creature.  Even so, the mottled green and brown snake slithers through the growth without a noise.  The snake's scales are patterned in wide spiral circles, crossing at the belly and swirling in mixed patterns across its back.
