One of the smaller creatures of the massive icescape, a small boy of the native race, sits on the ground with an innocent look on his face.  His deep brown eyes, like pools of liquid earth, sparkle in the firelight.  The long hair, which falls to his shoulders, is tied back from his face with a small headband.  Tucked into the boys belt is a long knife, its blade as sharp as one of the men's spears.  The boys hand carresses the hilt of the knife, making sure any who dare challenge him know of his skill with the blade.
