Gordo's deep blue robe is covered with bits of twigs and leaves from a long day's labor of moving broken frozen branches from the road. Strange looking plants and mushrooms are sticking out of his pockets that he has found as he traveled south along the thawing road. Deep lines are carved into his face from fatigue and the cold.
