the water snake

A large water snake is curled up around a branch.

The long water snake is covered in an intricate diamond shaped pattern along the length of its body.  Its little red tongue darts in and out as she checks out the changing air around here.  Her tummy is bulging slightly from her most recent meal.  Her skin is just starting to split around her head, making her very itchy.  As a result, she is very testy and does not want to disturbed.
