A red panda trots by, looking like a little plush toy.

This smallish mammal, with bushy russet fur, looks like a slender raccoon. Its little red tongue sticks out just slightly to shoo a bug off its black button nose.  The comparison to raccoons is even more noticeable because of the broad, red, mask-like stripe over each eye, standing out boldly against the cream-colored background of its little muzzle and rounded ears.
