A nursemaid hurries around the room, trying to take care of everyone in the room.

Although the nursemaid looks tired and worn out, she seems to be enjoying her job.  She used to be cramped in a small, damp room and used to get hasseled by many people while she was working.  Now, however, she works in the Governor's Home and hardly ever gets disturbed.  In fact she always seems to be smiling.
