a three-toed sloth

A three-toed sloth hangs upside down from a branch. She yawns lazily.

The fat sloth uses long, curving claws to hang from the branch.  Its shaggy brown hair is tinged with green from the algae growing in it.  Every so often it shifts positions, moving as if swimming in thick syrup.  When it sees you approach, it winks in a friendly way.
