A blue and orange macaw whistles proudly in the branches.

This member of the parrot family has a blue back and a yellowish-orange belly.  His thick, black beak is able to crack open the toughest nut ...  or slice through your finger, if threatened.  He is able to whistle two notes at once, allowing him to actually harmonize with his own melody!
